Games can be worlds … and the world itself wants to be discovered and shaped through play.
What makes games so important? Like no other medium, games give us the opportunity to experience mechanisms and contexts in a protected as-if situation. Games can reduce complex topics and processes, be they social, economic or cultural, to simple basic rules. In the game, the players interact. Like the water in an instant dish, this interaction restores the complexity of the issue.

For a common starting point, we start the workshop with a game. In the workshop we then develop an approach for our own new board game. We look for a theme, a plot, stake out a suitable event horizon, use main and sub-tension arcs, install adequate movement mechanisms and set up specific game tactical dilemmas.
We explore methods of developing a game with precision.
Accompanying this, we elicit game-specific requirements for design, production techniques and production processes.
