In the »Die Schönsten deutschen Bücher« competition, two expert juries select the 25 »Most Beautiful German Books« of the year from around 700 submitted titles in two proceedings lasting several days. The award-winning books are exemplary in design, conception and workmanship. Books that set standards and show important trends and currents in book design and the book market.
In the exhibition, we are showing the 25 award-winning books of 2022. In addition, large parts of the shortlist of this year’s competition – in other words, another 60 or so books that came close to winning an award. Apart from the Frankfurt Book Fair, this »shortlist« can only be seen here in Augsburg.
